Testimonial 8 block design & features
Testimonial8 is a centered header plus masonry wall built with shadcn/ui. A large heading and a muted supporting line sit above a column layout of cards. Each card opens with a circular avatar, name, and role, then a quoted paragraph. Up to nine quotes fill the wall.
A gradient wash at the bottom fades the lower cards into the page background so the grid reads as a peek rather than a closed set. Cards use the default surface with muted quote text and a thin ring on each avatar. Quote length is clipped unevenly from card to card, so heights stagger instead of lining up. The block is static aside from that fade.
The masonry plus fade gives a social-feed look without a carousel. The cards themselves stay close to a default shadcn style; the column flow and bottom wash are what set it apart. Moderate complexity and content-driven: you need a heading, a short description, and several quotes with avatar photos, names, and roles so the columns have enough height to fade.
One column shows on small screens, two from medium, and three from large. Extra cards stay hidden until those wider layouts, so the fade always sits over a full-looking wall.
