Are the templates hand-designed or generated with AI?
- Hand-designed and custom-built from scratch. We do not ship AI-generated layouts, scraped ThemeForest ports, or lightly restyled open-source starters. Every template is designed and coded by our team to the same standard as our blocks — TypeScript, real components, and layouts that hold up in production.

Do I get both Next.js and Astro versions?
- Almost every template ships as both a Next.js 16 edition and an Astro 6 edition. Same design, framework-native code: App Router and MDX on Next.js, content collections and React islands on Astro. The Shadcn Admin Kit is Next.js only. Buy a template once and download the stack you actually ship.

Can I use a template for client work and commercial sites?
- Yes. The commercial license covers unlimited end products for you, your company, and your clients. You own the sites you build. You cannot resell the template itself, put it in a marketplace, or use it to produce a competing kit. See the license page for the full terms.

Should I buy one template or unlock everything with Premium?
- Individual templates start at $79; the Shadcn Admin Kit is $129. Premium is $299 and unlocks all 19 templates, every Pro block, the Figma kit, and the Admin Kit, with lifetime updates. If you need more than one or two templates, or you want the block library, Premium is the better buy.

How hard is it to customize the design and content?
- You get the full TypeScript source. Colors, radius, and typography are shadcn/ui CSS variables, so a theme change lands across the whole site. Copy lives in MDX and JSON, not buried in JSX. Pages are built from block sections, so you can swap layouts or drop in more blocks from the Shadcnblocks library without rewriting the template.

- Yes. Templates ship on Next.js 16, Astro 6, React 19, Tailwind 4, and TypeScript. Purchases include lifetime access and updates — we keep the stack current instead of freezing a repo on last year’s versions.

Do they support dark mode and shadcn theming?
- Yes. Templates use the official shadcn/ui theme tokens, so light mode, dark mode, and generators like Tweakcn work the same way they do on our blocks. You are not locked into a one-off color system.

What’s included when I buy a template?
- The complete source as a zip, both framework editions where they exist, and a live demo so you can evaluate the real site before you pay. Some templates include a Figma file. After purchase, downloads are instant from your dashboard — unzip, install, and run.

What if the template isn’t what I expected?
- We generally do not refund digital goods. Every template has a live demo so you can click through the real pages first. If you have a legitimate or extenuating reason, contact support. Details are on the support page.

Can I resell or redistribute a template?
- No. You can build unlimited sites for yourself and clients. You cannot resell the template, share the source outside your license, or use it inside a website builder, AI generator, or competing library. If your use case is unusual, email support@shadcnblocks.com with a specific example.
