Team 62 block design & features
The block uses a two-column layout. The left column holds the heading, a short paragraph and a list of groups such as Leadership, Operations and Research, each with a zero-padded member count. The right column is a Shadcn UI Carousel of tall portrait cards with names and roles.
Choosing a group swaps the carousel's slides and resets it to the start. The active group is marked with aria-pressed, and a small polite live region above the slides announces the group and how many people are in it. Previous and next buttons sit alongside that label.
Large list items with thin dividers keep the filter feeling like part of the page rather than a set of tabs, while the carousel shows around three people at a time on wide screens.
On mobile the group list becomes a row of pill buttons above the carousel, and the slides take most of the width so the next card peeks in.
