Shadcn UI Hero Block
Hero265 is a two-column hero built with Shadcn UI, placing an auto-cycling masked portrait on the left and a text column on the right. The right side stacks a badge, large headline, supporting paragraph, two CTA buttons, and a row of three numeric stats. A floating star-rating pill is positioned at the bottom-right of the masked image on desktop.
The mask shape is a square with a stepped corner notch in the upper right, producing an L-shaped cutout that distinguishes the image from a standard rectangle. Portraits crossfade every 3.5 seconds. The floating rating pill uses a card-like shadow to sit above the image. Text is left-aligned with tight tracking on the headline. The stats row uses bold numbers with smaller muted labels beneath each figure.
Visually this leans toward a professional services or creative-studio aesthetic. The monochrome portrait imagery paired with the geometric mask gives it an editorial quality. It sits at moderate complexity, combining an animated masked image, floating overlay element, and a stat strip in a single section without being cluttered.
On mobile the two columns stack vertically with the masked image above the text column. The floating rating pill hides on smaller screens to keep the layout clean.
