Feature 242 block design & features
Feature242 is a testimonial strip built with Shadcn UI, pairing a text column with a carousel of slides. Each slide typically combines a photo or visual panel with quote text and a name or role line, while arrow buttons and an index readout make the current item obvious.
The carousel uses motion and scale on the active slide so the focal card feels forward in the stack. Supporting text and controls sit in a calm, neutral frame so photography and quoted lines carry most of the contrast. Spacing is roomy enough for long quotes without crowding the navigation cluster.
This block sits between a simple static quote and a heavier editorial layout: it is interaction-forward because of the carousel, but the content model stays straightforward (image, quote, attribution per slide). You need a small set of real testimonials or case blurbs to avoid an empty carousel state.
Smaller screens stack content and keep touch-friendly hit targets on the arrows; the indicator helps when only one slide is visible at a time.
