Careers 8 block design & features
Careers8 is a client-side filterable listings section built with Shadcn UI select and label controls. A bold “Open Positions” title sits above a labeled filter row; choosing a department re-renders the content so each visible category appears as its own panel with openings underneath. Individual roles live in rounded cards that link out, showing a bold title and smaller muted location line.
Muted card backgrounds lighten the grid against the page, with hover states that slightly deepen the fill. Category titles read as oversized section headers, and the grid grows from one column into two and three across as the viewport widens. The control row stays simple and left aligned next to the filter label.
Moderate complexity comes from the interaction model rather than visual chrome. The pattern suits teams that want browsing by department without a separate page per team.
The layout stacks the hero title, filter, and repeating category panels in a single vertical rhythm, so mobile readers see one column of tappable cards after picking a filter.
