Calendar 8 block design & features
Calendar8 is an editable month calendar built with shadcn/ui Button, Dialog, Field, and Input. The header has month arrows, the month title, and an add event button. Each day cell shows its date, a plus button that appears on hover, and the events for that day as small chips with a colored edge and start time.
Adding from a day opens a dialog with the date filled in, and clicking an event opens the same dialog to edit it. The form holds a title, date, start and end times, and a calendar color choice, flags an end time before the start, and offers delete when editing.
The look is tidy and practical, with plain cells, tinted chips, and a standard modal form. Simple create and edit is the main behavior, which makes this a useful base for any app calendar. Content-driven: it needs event titles, dates, and times.
