Calendar 22 block design & features
Calendar22 is a release planning month view built with shadcn/ui Button. The header has month navigation, team filter toggles, and a freeze legend. The grid shows each week as a row where workstreams spanning several days are drawn as continuous bars stacked into lanes, single day milestones appear as diamond markers, and freeze windows are hatched across the days they cover. A side panel shows the selected item and a chronological list of everything in the month.
Bars can be dragged to new dates and keep their length, with a dashed outline previewing where they will land. Weeks with more than three lanes collapse into a "+N more" link that expands the row. Selecting an item that overlaps a freeze window shows a warning in the side panel.
The styling is structured and calm, with tinted team colors, squared off bar ends where a workstream continues into the next week, and a muted wash on days outside the month. Spanning bars with lane stacking are harder to build than a plain month grid, which makes this a more elaborate calendar block. Content-driven: it needs release names, teams, and date ranges.
On a narrow screen the side panel hides and the month grid scrolls sideways.
