Calendar 14 block design & features
Calendar14 is a day agenda calendar built with shadcn/ui Button, Dialog, Field, and Input. A narrow card shows the date with previous and next day arrows and a summary of how many events there are and how much free time is left between 8am and 6pm. Below it the day reads as a list, with each event showing its start and end time, a colored bar, the title, duration, and location.
Gaps of half an hour or more appear as dashed free slots between events, and clicking one opens a dialog to add an event that starts when the gap starts. A red line marks the current time on today, and earlier events fade slightly. Clicking an event opens it to edit or delete, and the add button at the bottom fills the first free gap.
The design is compact and readable, closer to a phone agenda than a grid. It fits dashboards, sidebars, and booking summaries. Content-driven: it needs a day of events with times and places.
The card keeps the same layout on every screen size.
