Blogpost 8 block design & features
Blogpost8 is a long-form article layout built with shadcn/ui avatar and prose typography. A centered title band carries the headline, summary, author row with avatar and formatted date, and a full-width hero image before the body splits into a main prose column and a sticky right sidebar labeled "On this page" with numbered section anchors.
The table of contents sits inside a bordered, muted card that highlights the active section while readers scroll. Section headings use scroll-margin offsets so in-page links land cleanly beneath the sticky nav. The article body includes multiple headed sections, narrative paragraphs, and a block quotation inside dark-aware prose styles.
Visually the block is editorial and text-forward, with the numbered TOC rail providing the clearest structural contrast against the centered header band.
This is a moderately complex article template because it combines marketing-style header chrome with scroll-linked navigation that expects real section IDs in your content.
On large screens the TOC stays pinned while the article scrolls; the sidebar hides on smaller breakpoints so mobile readers get a single-column flow.
