Blogpost 20 block design & features
Blogpost20 is a classic blog comments section, built with shadcn/ui Avatar, Badge, Button, Checkbox, Input, Label, and Textarea components. A heading with the count sits above a numbered thread, where each comment shows an avatar, the name, an author badge, a numbered permalink with the time, the comment, and a reply link. Below the thread, a "Leave a reply" form asks for a name and email side by side, a comment, and whether to send an email when someone replies.
The look is traditional and text-first. Comments are separated by hairline rules, replies hang off a thicker left rule with numbers like 2.1, and the form uses standard labeled fields. Choosing reply shows a "Replying to" note above the form with a button to cancel, and the new comment lands under the right parent.
It suits blogs that take comments from guests without accounts. Complexity is moderate. The form and thread run on local state for demonstration, and real use needs a comments backend and spam protection.
The name and email fields stack on phones.
