Blogpost 18 block design & features
Blogpost18 shows article comments as bordered cards, built with shadcn/ui Avatar, Badge, Button, and Textarea components. A heading with a count badge sits above a stack of cards. Each card has a muted header bar with the avatar, name, time, and an author badge on the right, then the comment and a row of emoji reaction chips. Replies are nested inside the parent card behind a left rule, and a composer at the bottom pairs the reader's avatar with an outlined textarea and a footer bar holding the post button.
The style borrows from code review threads. Header bars and footer bars use a soft muted fill, borders are thin and consistent, and the reaction chips are small rounded pills. Choosing a reaction tints the chip and adds to its count, and choosing it again takes it back.
The emoji reactions and header bars give it a developer tool feel that suits technical writing. Complexity is moderate. Reactions, replies, and new comments are handled locally for demonstration, and real use needs a backend for reaction counts.
