Blogpost 17 block design & features

Blogpost17 splits the comments under an article into two columns, built with Shadcn UI Avatar, Badge, Button, and Textarea components. The narrower column holds a "Join the discussion" heading, a short note on the house rules, an overlapping stack of participant avatars with a count, and the comment form. The wider column lists the thread with large avatars, names, an author badge, the time, the comment, and like and reply buttons, with replies indented underneath.

The layout is calm and roomy. Top-level comments are separated by hairline dividers rather than cards, and the intro column sticks in place on large screens while the thread scrolls past. The avatar stack is built from the people in the thread, so it updates when someone new posts.

It reads like a community page more than a comment box, because the invitation to take part is always in view. Complexity is moderate, with local state for likes, replies, and new comments, and it needs real commenter avatars to look right.

On smaller screens the intro and form sit above the thread and stop sticking.
