Blog 94 block design & features
Blog94 is a thumbnail-led blog row section built with shadcn/ui Badge and Card components. A left-aligned heading and optional description sit above four rows separated by open space. Each row starts with a small square thumbnail on the left, aligned to the top of a text column that holds an outline category badge, author, and date, then a linked title, summary, and a "Continue reading" link with an arrow.
Reading order runs image first, then type. The thumbnail has rounded corners over a muted frame, and the text column fills the remaining width. A light outline badge, medium-weight author, faint dot, and muted date step down in emphasis above a semibold title and relaxed muted summary. On hover the thumbnail dims slightly, the title underlines as its own link, and the continue-reading arrow darkens. No dividers and no entrance animation.
This is the mirror of Blog36, which places the same thumbnail on the right. Putting the image first gives each row a visual anchor for scanning while keeping the headline dominant, a safe and familiar media-object pattern. Complexity is low: posts need a square image, category, author, date, title, and summary.
Below medium screens the thumbnail stacks above the copy and expands to a full-width square.
