Blog 91 block design & features
Blog91 is an eight-post blog grid built with Shadcn UI, arranged in two rows of four below a left-aligned heading and description. Each card holds a 16:9 image with a small category pill in the top-left corner, a title, and a footer that sets the date against a read link with an arrow.
Without borders or fills, the grid reads as a run of rounded photos with short captions. The pills are slightly smaller and tucked closer to the corner than on the four-card row. Titles are semibold, dates are muted with tabular figures, and the read link is medium weight. Hover is split: the image dims a touch, the title underlines, and the read link underlines while its arrow darkens.
Compact and photo-forward, this is the mid-size member of the pill-on-image family. It suits a calm, gallery-like index where images do most of the selling. Low complexity, needing eight posts with images, categories, titles, and dates.
Two columns on tablets and one on phones, with each card's footer pinned to the bottom so dates align across rows.
