Blog 9 block design & features
Blog9 is a centered tile grid styled with Shadcn UI theme colors. A centered heading and medium-weight intro paragraph sit above a grid of up to six posts. Each post is a padded tile containing a semibold title, an excerpt clamped to two lines, and a muted date at the foot.
Tiles sit on a light muted fill with rounded corners and no border or shadow. The whole tile is a single link, and on hover the fill deepens to a stronger muted tone with a short fade, while the title stays plain text without an underline. Excerpts stretch to push the dates to a shared baseline, so tiles in a row end level. Gaps between tiles are tight compared with the open space around the header.
This is the only surface-based layout among the minimal grids: soft blocks of tone replace rules and whitespace as the organizing device. The effect is calm and close to a default shadcn look, with the one-piece hover giving it a slightly more app-like feel than the text-link siblings. It is simple and text-only, needing just titles, short excerpts, and dates.
Three columns on large screens, two on medium screens, and a single stack on mobile.
