Blog 87 block design & features
Blog87 is a twelve-post blog grid built with Shadcn UI, arranged as three rows of four below a left-aligned heading and description. Each card has a 16:9 cover image, an uppercase category label, a title, an excerpt clamped to two lines, and a publish date at the bottom. Covers and titles are separate links.
The look is light and unframed: no borders, no card surfaces, only rounded covers on the page background. Muted, letter-spaced category labels sit above small semibold titles, and the date closes each card in muted gray with tabular figures. Wide row gaps keep the twelve cards from feeling crowded. Covers dim slightly on hover and titles underline, with no load animation.
A plain, archive-style grid that favors scanning volume over detail. Compared with the four-card row it drops the read time and triples the post count, which makes it the simplest way to show a full page of posts. Content-driven rather than decorative: it needs twelve posts with images, categories, summaries, and dates.
The grid reflows to two columns on tablets and one on phones. Dates are pinned to the card bottom so each row stays aligned.
