Blog 83 block design & features
Blog83 is a two-post blog row built with shadcn/ui styling, set under a heading and description. Each post has a 16:9 cover with a pill-shaped category chip in the top-left corner, a large title, and a footer row with the date on the left and an arrow read link on the right.
There is no card chrome and no excerpt, so the cover and title do most of the work. The chip is a small solid pill in the page background color sitting on the photo. The footer pairs a small muted date with a medium-weight read link whose arrow moves from muted to full contrast on hover. Cover, title, and read link are separate links: the cover dims, while the title and read link each underline.
Compact and modern, with the overlaid chip giving a slightly more magazine feel than the plain category labels in other grids. It is the smallest of three sibling blocks that share this card design and differ by post count. Simple to fill: two covers, categories, dates, and link text.
