Blog 78 block design & features

Blog78 is a two-column spotlight section built with Shadcn UI Breadcrumb, Card, and Button, set on a muted band covered in a repeating dot pattern. The left column stacks a slash-separated breadcrumb, a large heading, and a muted description. The right column holds one article card with an edge-to-edge 3:2 cover on top, then a title, a three-line summary, and a small ghost button with a trailing arrow.

The dot texture is the only decoration, a light tiled grid across the whole band. Against it, the card stands out as a flat panel in the card color with a hairline border, rounded corners, and no shadow. Its title is set a size below the section heading so the intro copy stays dominant, and the summary is muted. The cover dims on hover, the title underlines, and the ghost button uses its standard subtle fill. No entrance motion.

Quiet and structured, this works as an editorial opener that frames one story inside a section context, with the breadcrumb giving it a page-header quality most blog sections lack. Complexity is low and mostly content-driven: a heading, a short description, breadcrumb labels, and one post with a cover image.

On large screens the copy and card share a row and center vertically against each other. Below that, the card stacks under the copy at full width.
