Blog 61 block design & features

Blog61 is a three-column card grid built with Shadcn UI. Below a section heading, six cards each contain only a post title and, anchored to the bottom edge, a small round author avatar beside the author's name.

Cards are outlined with a single hairline border and rounded corners, but have no fill, so they read as frames on the page background rather than raised surfaces. Padding inside each card is even and the gaps between cards are tighter than in the borderless grids. The title is semibold, and the author name sits in medium weight at a smaller size. Because the byline is pinned to the bottom, cards in the same row line up even when titles wrap to different lengths. Only the title is a link, and it underlines on hover; the card border and surface stay put. There is no motion.

The look is minimal and slightly structured, a step more contained than the bare title lists in this family without adding excerpts or imagery. Attributing every post to a face gives it a contributor-led feel. Complexity is low; it needs titles, author names, and square headshots that crop well into a small circle.

Columns step from three on large screens to two on medium screens and a single stack on mobile.
