Blog 57 block design & features
Blog57 is a chronological archive built with Shadcn UI spacing and dividers. A label, heading, and summary count introduce year groups. Each group opens with a large year numeral and an article count, then a divided list of titles with category underneath and a short date plus arrow on the right.
The look is manuscript-like: no images, no cards, only type scale and hairlines. Truncated titles keep rows to one line on desktop. Hover tints the title and arrow toward the primary color.
This is a distinctive index for long-running publications rather than a homepage grid. Complexity is moderate and content-driven: you need a multi-year catalog with stable titles and dates.
On small screens titles still truncate while dates and arrows stay pinned to the right.
