Blog 55 block design & features
Blog55 is a long-form row listing built with shadcn/ui layout utilities. A narrow heading block introduces stacked two-column entries separated by hairline rules. Each row pairs a 16:9 cover with category, title, excerpt, date, read time, and a read cue. Image placement flips between start and end so consecutive stories zigzag.
There are no card shells. Hierarchy comes from large titles, generous vertical padding, and rounded image frames. Hover tints the title and read label toward the primary color.
The zigzag is a distinctive editorial rhythm rather than a repeated card. Complexity is moderate and image-driven: four stories with full excerpts and photography fill the section.
On small screens images always stack above copy and the zigzag disappears.
