Blog 50 block design & features
Blog50 is a magazine-style bento built with Shadcn UI Badge components. A short label and heading introduce a three-column grid where large posts span two columns and small posts occupy one. Large cards include a cover image, secondary badge, title, excerpt, date, and a corner arrow. Small cards skip the image and excerpt so the title and badge carry the weight.
Cards share rounded bordered shells with a light hover shadow. Title size scales with card span, and the arrow nudges up and right on hover. Density is tighter than an even three-up grid because mixed spans create a mosaic.
The pattern is a distinctive magazine well rather than a uniform archive. Complexity is moderate and mixed: layout is CSS-driven through column spans, while content needs several posts with size flags and photography on the large entries.
On smaller screens every card goes full width and the mosaic reads as a stacked list.
