Blog 46 block design & features
Blog46 combines a newsletter signup header with a photo-led blog grid using shadcn/ui Input and Button components. The top band splits into two columns on large screens: copy with a heading and supporting paragraph on the left, and an email field with a subscribe button on the right. A bottom border separates that header from a responsive two-column grid of linked cards, each with a wide cover image, category and date row, title, and clipped excerpt inside a rounded bordered shell.
Card surfaces use standard borders and muted image wells with a subtle zoom on hover. The signup area stays typographic and form-forward while the grid below carries the visual weight through photography and consistent 16:10 crops.
The block sits between minimal indexes and carousel layouts: moderate complexity because you configure newsletter copy plus multiple post objects with images and metadata. The newsletter-plus-grid pairing is a recognizable editorial pattern with a clear conversion hook above recent stories.
On smaller breakpoints the signup form stacks under the copy and the grid collapses to one column before returning to two columns at the medium breakpoint.
