Description of the Blog 28 block design & features
Blog28 is a mosaic-style article grid built with utility classes and semantic links so it sits comfortably beside pages that already use Shadcn UI, even though this block does not pull in extra registry components in its source. A centered large-weight page title introduces the section, followed by a responsive grid where the first entry occupies a taller, wider cell on medium and large breakpoints while the remaining posts fill standard cells. Each tile links as a whole card: rounded cover image with hover opacity fade, a muted metadata row pairing date and author with a middle dot, then a headline that scales up on the lead tile only, plus an excerpt paragraph restricted to the primary story.
Secondary tiles omit body copy so the mosaic stays compact and image-forward outside the lead slot.
Headline scale contrasts strongly between the page title and the smaller grid cells, with minimal borders beyond rounding on imagery. Hover feedback stays subtle through image transparency shifts only.
Mobile layouts collapse toward one or two columns depending on breakpoints while preserving the stacked metadata pattern. Elaboration is moderate: you keep one enriched lead entry first in your source order while shorter tiles follow, so editorial intent matters when ordering posts.
