Blog 26 block design & features
Blog26 is a magazine-style split built around Shadcn UI AspectRatio framing for the lead image. The top band pairs an oversized “Blog” wordmark with a muted tagline line, a bold publication subtitle, and a small bordered panel showing circular author portrait plus name and role. Below, a two-column grid places the lead story on one side: linked wide image inside a fixed ratio frame, linked headline, summary paragraph, and “by” link with date separated by a dot.
The opposite column opens with a large “Latest” label and stacks shorter entries as linked titles with underline-on-hover, each followed by author link, separator dot, and date on their own rows with hairline dividers between items.
Typography scales aggressively on the primary heading while list items stay crisp and editorial, giving the layout a print-inspired rhythm rather than card chrome.
Spacing reads generous between the oversized masthead, lead column, and latest stack; responsive breakpoints collapse the grid into a single column flow. Expect moderate setup for imagery and author metadata on the featured story plus repeatable fields for list posts.
