Blog 18 block design & features
Blog18 is a four-column headline grid built on shadcn/ui styling. A single heading opens the section with no intro paragraph or button. Up to eight posts follow, filling two rows of four on wide screens. Each entry is just a linked title with a small date underneath.
Titles are compact and semibold at a modest size, and dates drop to the smallest muted text with tabular figures. There are no borders, fills, or dividers: open whitespace between columns and a larger gap between rows do all the grouping. Hovering a title underlines it, and nothing animates in.
This is about as stripped back as a post grid gets, a typographic index that reads like a list of headlines spread across the page. The density of eight short entries sets it apart from the four-up excerpt grid. Complexity is minimal and content-driven, needing only titles and dates, and it works best when the titles are short enough to wrap to two or three lines.
Four columns on large screens, two from small tablets up, and a single column on phones.
