The block opens with a heading and a short description, with a row of year filters on the right: All, then each year that has issues. The active filter is marked by an underline that draws in from the left.
Issues sit in a ruled list. Each row shows the issue number and send date in a narrow left column, the subject line in medium type, and a one-line preview that truncates. Hovering a row underlines the subject, brightens the preview and slides a small arrow in from the right.
Switching years swaps the list in place, and the rows fade up one after another. Issue numbers count down from the latest issue, so they stay correct when you filter.
On mobile the number and date sit on one line above the subject, and the arrow is hidden.
