Blog118 is an author profile page in the style of a social profile, built with shadcn/ui Button components. A wide cover photo spans the top, and a large round portrait overlaps its bottom edge with a ring in the page background color. Under it, the author's name, role and company, location, biography, and a "Writes about" line listing their topics sit on the left, while an RSS follow button, square icon buttons for website, Twitter, and LinkedIn, and a row of stats for articles, readers, and writing since sit on the right. A "Posts by" heading introduces a four-column grid of compact post cards with landscape covers, uppercase categories, titles, and date and read time.
The cover and portrait give the header a strong photographic lead, while everything below stays flat and borderless. The post cards are small and dense, with titles at a modest size so two rows of four read as a tidy archive. Titles underline on hover and covers dim slightly.
It has a familiar profile page feel that borrows from social platforms while keeping the restrained typography of an editorial site. Complexity is moderate and image-driven: it needs a wide banner photo, an author portrait, and a cover image for every post.
On phones the cover switches to a taller ratio, the profile stacks into one column, and the grid drops to one column, then two on small tablets.
