Blog 113 block design & features
Blog113 is a month-by-month blog archive built with shadcn/ui Accordion. An uppercase label, a large heading, and a description sit above one band per year. Each year has a large year number and post count on the left, which stays in view while you scroll, and a stack of month panels on the right. Every month panel shows the month name and its post count, then a two-column list of posts, each with a square thumbnail, the date, category, read time, and a linked title. All months start open, and any of them can be folded away.
Month panels sit on a soft muted fill with rounded corners in place of rules or dividers, so the page has almost no line work. The year numbers are set large and bold, month names a step down, and the post meta stays small and muted with faint dot separators. Thumbnails dim slightly on hover and titles underline. Months open and close with the standard accordion animation.
It is a calm, editorial take on the classic archive, closer to a journal's back issues than a plain list of links. Complexity is moderate and content-driven: each post needs a square image, title, day, category, and read time, grouped by month and year.
Below large screens the year label sits inline above its months and the post list becomes a single column.
