Blog 104 block design & features
Blog104 is a chronological blog archive built with shadcn/ui conventions. A heading and description open a single centered column, followed by one group per year. Each group pairs a large year label and its post count on the left with a ruled list of posts on the right, where every row shows a short date in a mono face, the post title, and its topic aligned to the far edge.
Typography carries the whole layout. The years are set very large with tight tracking and tabular figures, titles sit at a comfortable reading size, and dates and topics stay muted. Hairline rules divide the posts, there are no cards, images, or fills, and the only motion is an underline on the hovered title. On wider screens the year label stays pinned in view while its list scrolls past.
It reads as a quiet, editorial archive in the tradition of personal and studio blogs, and it is a simple, content-driven block. A developer needs each post's title, date, and topic grouped by year, and the layout handles anything from a few posts a year to dozens.
On phones the year and its count sit on one line above the list, and each topic drops below its title.
