Application Shell 25 block design & features
ApplicationShell25 is an icon rail shell built with Shadcn UI. A narrow rail holds the Shadcnblocks logo, six section icons (Home, Projects, Messages, Calendar, Team, Reports), a help button and an account menu. The active section has a pill indicator on the rail edge and Messages shows an unread dot.
Hovering or clicking a section opens a flyout panel over the content with that section's grouped links. The flyout closes when the pointer leaves, on Escape or when the content is tapped. A pin button docks the panel so it pushes the content over and stays open while switching sections.
The main column has a header with the active section title, a search field and notifications, above a grid of skeleton cards.
The rail stays visible at every width. On small screens the search field hides and the flyout overlays the content.
