Application Shell 16 block design & features
ApplicationShell16 is a full application shell built with Shadcn UI. A left sidebar holds the Shadcnblocks logo and name, then a short list of section labels, each with a trailing menu icon. Choosing a section opens its child links in a menu beside the rail. The main column has a breadcrumb header, three muted preview panels, and a large content placeholder.
The sidebar is a full-height surface with hairline separation from the page. Section rows are compact and text-led. The open menu is a small rounded panel with a plain list of links. The content area stays light, with muted fills and no extra chrome.
This is a familiar app frame with one less common navigation move: nested pages live in a menu, so the rail stays short. It is a simple, content-driven block. A developer needs a brand, a handful of section names, and the links that belong under each one.
On small screens the same menus open downward from the section row, and the sidebar itself slides in from the edge.
