Date Picker Standard 1 component design & features
This date picker uses shadcn Calendar inside Popover with react-day-picker range mode. The trigger shows the selected from and to dates, and users pick both endpoints on one calendar before the popover closes.
Range pickers fit booking flows, analytics date filters, and report exports where a period matters more than a single day. Use them on dashboards and reservation forms instead of two separate single-date fields.
