This example uses the shadcn Calendar component inside a Dialog triggered by a Button in single-date selection mode. Custom modifiers and modifiersStyles highlight booked days with distinct styling and rounded day buttons.
Dialog calendar pickers work in forms and filters where date selection should not consume permanent page space, such as booking flows, report date filters, and scheduling modals.
