Shipments 3 block design & features
Shipments3 is a create shipping label workspace built with shadcn/ui field, select, input group, calendar, and card components. The header carries Reset, Save draft, and Create Label actions above a draft context card with status chips. The main grid puts Delivery Setup, Package Details, and Notes on the left. The right column stacks a Rate Snapshot, Dispatch Plan with handoff date and notify checkbox, and a Sender Profile card for the origin address printed on the label.
Rounded cards on a light background with quiet borders and no heavy depth. Rate totals update as service, insurance, and package type change. Dimension fields use compact input groups with L, W, and H prefixes. The dispatch card includes a dashed current plan callout. Typography stays form-forward with medium card titles and muted descriptions. Interaction is static aside from the date popover and select menus.
This is a form-heavy operations block with a checkout-like rate column. The live total and dispatch plan make it feel more complete than a single carrier select. Complexity is high and content-driven. You need carrier options, service fees, package types, and a sender address ready before the form is useful.
