Projects 34 block design & features
Projects34 treats a portfolio like a box of keepsakes. This shadcn/ui block sits on a warm paper-coloured background that turns to a deep cocoa in dark mode, with a centred serif heading and a short description above a grid of framed photographs.
There are three frame styles, built only with CSS and a small inline SVG. A polaroid has a thick bottom border, a strip of masking tape, and a handwritten caption on the card. A gallery frame has a dark wooden edge, a cream mat, and an inset shadow. An ornate frame has an arched window, a fine inner rule, and curled corner flourishes.
Each frame is tilted by a degree or two, and the columns are staggered, so the grid feels hung by hand. Captions are set in a cursive font stack with the client name in small spaced capitals beneath.
The grid moves from three columns to two and then one on mobile. It suits photographers, wedding studios, and hospitality brands that want a personal tone.
