Projects 17 block design & features
The block features a shadcn/ui Carousel presenting project cards that scroll horizontally. Each card is a fixed 500px wide container holding a 4:3 rounded image, a title, location subtitle in muted text, and a secondary "View Project" button. A large heading sits above the carousel within the container padding.
Navigation is handled by two circular outline buttons positioned over the carousel at vertical midpoint of the images, with left and right arrows that disable at scroll boundaries. The carousel aligns items to the start and enables drag-free mode on smaller breakpoints.
Styling is clean and minimal with consistent spacing between cards, soft rounded image corners, and light border circular arrow buttons. The restrained palette and functional typography create a portfolio-browsing feel without decorative flourishes.
On mobile the carousel becomes drag-free, allowing swipe navigation, and cards fill most of the available width.
