Product Search 9 block design & features
A command-palette style product search built with shadcn/ui. The panel opens on recent searches and a short list of popular products, with a large preview of the highlighted product beside the list showing its photo, brand, price, description and add-to-cart actions.
Typing filters the list by name, brand and category and resets the highlight to the top result. The arrow keys move the highlight through the results and Enter opens the product, while the preview crossfades to follow it; hovering a row does the same with the mouse. The field is a proper combobox with an active-descendant listbox, and the footer shows the keyboard hints.
A good fit for electronics or any catalogue where shoppers compare a few close matches before clicking through. Recent searches, the popular list, products and currency are all props, and the preview pane hides on small screens so the list keeps the full width.
