Product Search 8 block design & features
A storefront search page built with shadcn/ui. A single oversized search field sits on a heavy underline, and below it a six-column grid of portrait product photos with names and prices shows the whole range before anything is typed.
Every keystroke filters the grid by product name and category. Matching letters are highlighted in each product name, the result count beside the field updates and is announced to screen readers, and remaining tiles fade in so the grid reads as one continuous refinement rather than a page reload. A clear button appears once there is a query, and an empty-state line takes over when nothing matches.
Useful for a dedicated search or catalogue page where the product photography should stay in view while shoppers narrow it down. Products, labels and currency are props, and the grid drops to three and then two columns on smaller screens.
