Product Categories 18 block design & features
The block shows three tall photo panels in a row, each for a tech category such as laptops, workstations or smart home devices. The open panel is wider, lighter and shows a large white heading, a short description and a light button over its photo, while the narrow panels show just their name. It is built with shadcn/ui.
Hovering or focusing a narrow panel expands it while the open one shrinks, and its text fades in once the width has settled. The last panel hovered stays open. The panels fill the screen height on large displays. Each category's title, description, image and button are props. Transitions are skipped when reduced motion is preferred.
Below the large breakpoint all panels stay open and stack, with the first spanning the full width on tablets.
