Product Categories 16 block design & features
The block arranges home categories in a bento grid. A small label sits above five photo tiles of different sizes, with a tall lighting tile on the left and furniture, vases, cookware and other tiles filling the rest. Each tile has a darkened photo and a white category name in the top corner. It is built with shadcn/ui.
Every tile links to its category. Hovering or focusing a tile fades its first photo out to reveal the next, deepens the overlay slightly and opens an underlined Shop now link with an arrow under the name. The categories, their images and links, and the link text are props. Transitions are skipped when reduced motion is preferred.
On mobile the tiles stack in a single column at equal height.
