Our Story 7 block design & features
OurStory7 tells a company's history on scroll. This shadcn/ui block pins a two-column layout with a heading and a year-by-year list of milestones on the left and a large rounded photo stage on the right. Each milestone has a year, a short title, and a one-line description that only opens for the current entry.
Scrolling wipes each new photo up from the bottom of the stage over the previous one, and the new photo settles from a slight zoom as it is revealed. The milestone list fades the inactive entries and expands the description of the current one in step with the images, so the story reads as a sequence of rooms and moments rather than a static timeline.
It feels warm and grounded, well suited to about pages, founder stories, and anniversary sections. It needs a team or workplace photo, year, title, and one-line description for each milestone, and the section height grows with the number of chapters.
On mobile the list sits above a shorter landscape stage.
