Immersive 2 block design & features
Immersive2 turns scrolling into a flight through space. Built with shadcn/ui, it pins a full-height stage and lines up twelve landscape photographs at increasing depths, each offset up, down, left, or right of center with a small numbered caption. A large heading fills the screen at the start, then grows and fades away as scrolling begins.
As the page scrolls, the camera moves forward through the frames. Photos fade in from the distance, sweep past the edges of the screen, and fade out as they pass the viewer. Motion is smoothed with a spring so it glides between scroll ticks, and a closing line fades in once the last photo has passed.
The effect is immersive and cinematic, well suited to portfolio openers and campaign pages. It is an elaborate block that needs a set of landscape images with short titles, and the section height grows with the number of images so the pace stays consistent.
