Gallery 98 block design & features

Gallery98 lays out a roll of travel photos as two piles of instant-style prints in a shadcn/ui section. A centered heading and description sit above a wide stage with two dashed outlines, one marked for prints still to see and one for prints already seen. Every print is a square photo on a white card border with a short caption and date underneath, and round previous and next buttons with a counter sit below.

Tapping the top print lifts it across to the seen pile, where it lands at a new angle on top of the others. Tapping the top of the seen pile sends it back. Each print keeps its own slight rotation and offset so the piles look hand-stacked, and the moves run on springs. When the last print is dealt, the next button turns into a start over button, and the arrow keys work while the stage has focus.

It is tactile and nostalgic without leaning on any retro styling beyond the print border, and it reads as a real gallery rather than a carousel. It needs square-friendly photos with a short caption and date for each. On small screens the two piles overlap slightly and still work the same way.
