Gallery 82 block design & features
Gallery82 is an autoplaying slideshow with a sliced transition. In this Shadcn UI block, the left column holds the current title and location, and a ruled, numbered list of every slide. The right column is a tall rounded image frame.
When the slide changes, the new photo is cut into vertical strips that slide in from the top and bottom alternately, one after another, covering the old photo like shutters. The title animates in at the same time, and a thin line under the active list item fills over the autoplay interval. Hovering pauses autoplay.
It is bold and editorial, a fresh alternative to a fade carousel for landscapes, campaigns, and destinations. The number of strips and the interval are props, and it needs a photo, title, and location per slide.
