Gallery 81 block design & features
Gallery81 is a shader-powered slideshow built with shadcn/ui. A wide rounded frame holds the image, with a small series title and counter at the top and a very large slide title, subtitle, and round arrow buttons at the bottom, over soft gradients for legibility.
Moving between slides runs a WebGL transition: a wave driven by animated noise sweeps across the frame in the direction of travel, warping the outgoing image and pulling the incoming one into place as if through liquid. Images are fitted to the frame so they are never stretched. If WebGL is not available the block falls back to a plain image.
It is premium and experimental, a strong fit for creative studios, fashion, and 3D or motion portfolios. It is a complex block that needs only a few large images, ideally with a consistent tone.
On narrow screens the frame switches to a portrait ratio.
