Gallery 77 block design & features
Gallery77 is a zoomable contact sheet built with shadcn/ui. A heading sits beside a compact control with zoom in and zoom out buttons and a row of dots showing the current level, above a grid of square photos.
Changing the zoom level switches between two, three, four, and six columns, and every tile animates smoothly to its new size and position on a spring rather than jumping. Small caption pills show at the larger sizes and fade out at the densest level.
It is a practical, satisfying way to let people choose between browsing big images and scanning a whole set. It needs a set of square-friendly photos with short titles.
