Gallery 75 block design & features
Gallery75 is a spotlight gallery built with shadcn/ui. A centered eyebrow, heading, and description sit above a bento grid of mixed tiles, including a large two by two feature and a wide tile, holding product shots and portraits.
The whole grid is shown in dim grayscale. A soft circular spotlight follows the pointer and restores full color inside it, along with small label pills on each tile. The light trails the cursor on a spring and fades away when the pointer leaves the grid.
It is a fresh, catalog-friendly interaction that rewards exploring. It needs product or editorial images with a short title for each, and the spans of individual tiles are props.
On mobile the grid drops to two square columns, and on touch screens, where there is no pointer to follow, the photos show in full color.
