Gallery 69 block design & features
Gallery69 turns a photo series into a flipbook. In this shadcn/ui block, a mono eyebrow, heading, and short description sit above a wide 16:9 frame, with a row of slim ticks underneath, one per photo. The frame carries the current title and a frame counter over a soft gradient at the bottom.
Moving the pointer across the frame flips through the series in order, so sweeping left to right plays the set like a contact print or a flipbook. The tick under the current photo grows tall and dark while its neighbors rise slightly, and hovering any tick jumps straight to it. When nobody is interacting, the series advances on its own every second or so, and it pauses whenever the pointer or keyboard focus is on it. On touch screens, dragging across the frame scrubs the same way.
It is minimal and quietly interactive, best with a consistent series shot in the same style or light, such as architecture, product angles, or a time-lapse. It needs a set of landscape images with short titles, and the autoplay interval is a prop. The frame also works with the arrow keys.
